New page from a template
In the admin, Website → Pages → New page:- Pick a page to start from (the home page by default).
- Give it a title and an address. Sub-pages work:
/services/wedding-cakes. - Choose a copy of that page (its texts and pictures become the new page’s own, so editing them leaves the template alone) or an empty section (a heading and a paragraph in the site’s styles).
- Optionally add a link to the site’s menu.
/hr/services/wedding-cakes), listed
in Website → Pages with its SEO fields, and added to the sitemap. Clients can
take pages they added offline or delete them; the pages you built stay.
Agencies can turn this off per client (“Clients can add pages”, on by default).
Which part of the page changes
Only the template’s main content area. Neural Draft uses the first of:- the element you mark with
data-nd-content; <main>;- everything between the site header (
<header>, else the first<nav>) and the site footer; - the whole
<body>.
#cakes) point back to the template page. The menu
link is a copy of one of your own menu links (any <nav> with two or more
links outside the footer), so it looks like the rest of the menu.
The blog in the site’s design
On an own-design site,/blog and every post render inside the home page’s
header and footer, with your fonts and CSS, in every language, with RSS and
sitemap entries. After the first post is published, a Blog link is added
to the menu; it can be switched off in Website → Pages. Sites hosted elsewhere
keep showing the blog through the API or the embeds.
From code

With the developer MCP (
@neuraldraft/mcp 0.4.1+), ask for it: “add a
wedding cakes page under services, from the home page, in the menu”. In
Claude or ChatGPT with the hosted connector, the same request works for the
client.
